  1. Involve our children and the whole school/organisation when we start project planning
  2. Consult with our grounds staff about the creation and long-term maintanence of infrastructure (gardens, nestboxes/bird baths/insect hotels or recycling/organics collection systems)

  2. Involve our children and our whole organisation when we start project planning

  4. Collect baseline data about the project site's biodiversity, water quality or waste before we do outdoor activities

  6. Monitor the project site for long-term improvement to biodiversity, water or waste

We really encourage projects to be long-term and go beyond 2019, so this date is when you expect to finish your 2019 project activities, so AAEE NSW can follow-up how you went.

- Number of: species planted/ nestboxes or birdbaths installed/ frog ponds created
- Area of: gardens created (m2)/ weeds removed (m2)/ playground cleaned up / bushland cleaned up
- Length of: creek planted/ creek weeded/ creek, river or beach cleaned up
- Volume of litter cleaned up- number of bags or weight (kg)
- Kg of plastic/metal/paper recycled
- Kg of organics (food, garden waste etc) composted
- Take a photo at the start and end of the project to show the difference. Photos taken throughout the project to show progress would be appreciated also to submit with the evaluation report.
